How the Machine Works
The YWJ-AF Pro series unwinds non-woven material from a jumbo roll, then folds it in two directions: a V/N/W/Fan-fold across the width, followed by a single half-fold along the length. A fork-assisted folding mechanism, built from stainless steel, guides the material through this process, while a counting discharge tank arranges finished pieces for downstream packaging.
An unwinding synchronous traction mechanism paired with an automatic deviation correction system keeps the material aligned during high-speed operation, which is particularly important given the low tension tolerance of lightweight non-woven fabric.

Customization: Fold Pattern and Product Size
Unlike a fixed-format machine, the YWJ-AF Pro series is built to order around two customizable factors:
- Width-direction fold pattern: V-fold, N-fold, or W-fold, or Fan- fold selected based on the target product’s required bulk, absorbency layering, or packaging profile
- Finished product size: The Pro-50/75/100 reference sizes above cover common formats, but folded dimensions are not limited to these three — final size is configured to match the customer’s product specification
Length-direction folding is the exception: the machine only offers a single half-fold in this direction, regardless of configuration.
